The Sci/Fi writer (Writings from the Grave) guy? I don't think I would put too much stock in what he says. Why are you inclined to believe it?

Because there is a conspiracy out to keep him from getting published. And if they want to keep him from getting published, then obviously, he knows the TRUTH!

It is like the beach before a tsunami. First the water goes out then it comes in.

Its a law of nature. First everything sucks, then it all blows, then it goes back to sucking again.

First you get Clinton then Bush then you get Obama. Suck - blow - suck. See?. In this case the volcano will BLOW trying to off set how bad Obama sucks.

I'm sure the scientist have enough data with the land rising and the increase temps that they could predict a time. BUT I don't know if they did. Something is up though they have been preparing for this event seriously for a while now.

The FEMA camps are nation-wide, not only in the Yellowstone area. However, Yellowstone does seem like it's about to blow.

What ever happens...If Yellowstone blows the camps will do us no good. Looking on the bright side, it will be a great escape from our world leaders.

NASA's Landsat finds problems under Yellowstone's Old Faithful

NASA's Landsat satellites have been tracking Yellowstone's underground geothermal activity, a deep heat that is stored 4,000 miles into the earth's core. But there are areas where these energy levels are becoming erratic. Old Faithful could be in trouble.

The Landsat Program is jointly managed by NASA and the U.S. Geological Survey, beginning its services of remote sensing in 1972. It became part of the Yellowstone National Park's new monitoring plan in 2005. In addition to remote sensing, Landsat also uses airborne reconnaissance in order to "observe geothermal changes across all of Yellowstone in a systematic and scientific manner." (NASA)

Up until recently, the heat coming from Yellowstone's underground magma chamber has always been the fuel for over 10,000 of the volcano's features: Old faithful, hot springs, geysers, mud spots, terraces and mud pots. But NASA is reporting that the Landsat imagery has picked up some unexpected developments outside the park's borders, also picked up by energy companies beyond the park's borders.

If you look here [link to www.isthisthingon.org] Oldfaithful is offline, Problem I have with this is, why is it offline if there is problems at Yellowstone?? Because they don't want the public seeing everything going on at Yellowstone. The graph is NOT offline, it's hidden.

There has been talk on there about the resurgent Domes there that fill up with magma etc, now, Since 2010 there has been considerable deformation going on as well. Also strange is that Pelican Cones Seismo was turned on again recently after several years. AND STILL NOW, activity is ongoing on the charts. Now your asking if an eruption could be predicted.... I think YES, without going through my whole thread, I think someone mentioned that magma is travelling from East to West near there. There is also talk on there about the Hotspot possibly moving. If they know the size of them domes (especially Sour Creek) and if they know the speed of magma travelling and filling up these domes, then it may be possible for them to calculate a possible eruption date.

Remember too, Pelican Cone Station was only put back online a couple of months ago....Pelican Cone is near Sour Creek Dome...Sour Creek Dome would be the epicenter of an eruption if Yellowstone were to blow.

All the information is on my thread, just, just maybe OP could be right about this....

Think think, Volcanoes going mad at moment, Even new ones going off, Uplift in Oregon, numerous reports in media about possible Supervolcanos could go off, FEMA camps, Gold & Silver prices going mad, Economy in shit, possible big war brewing, 3 days of darkness, new islands being born, El Hierro, strange weather, lack of winter, maybe fucked up jetstream, The suns activity ramping up, etc etc etc, the list goes on and on..........

Magma is going mad in the earth, even NIN said on another thread the same thing, think people, something is brewing, could it be this??????

You don't know if the camps are good or not.....

Don't forget, just because it is called a Supervolcano, doesn't mean that it would erupt again like the last time it went off millions of years ago.

We haven't seen a Supervolcano go off in our lifetimes....If it did erupt, it could erupt smaller than last time (even though it would still cause considerable damage and loss of life) We just don't know what to expect, neither do the scientists, maybe that's why the camps are dotted around, just in case they think it might not be bigger than the last time and the camps are there ready and waiting to help.

That's odd even Arizona has had a quake 3.1 we normally don't get quakes is there a way for the New Madrain fault line to spread?
