He predicts a massive earthquake/tsunami on the East Coast on February 8th - 9th and another earthquake/tsunami on March 17th - 22nd! Quoting: Heath loves Earth It starts at around 10:30 I guess no one told him that God has other plans????? |

Quoting: Koala ya i kno im in FL. west coast Some day we will know why everything is happening the way it is.. only let love in and it will set you free. Damn that would be a blow to the US economy. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 529896 That would be the ultimate disaster. A major earthquake that triggers a tsunami in the Atlantic is far more likely than the "La Palma" volcano scenario. I highly doubt the volcanoes in the Canary Islands could do such a thing. |

Quoting: Koala My cousin lives in Atlantic Beach, FL right on the beach and she's a good 50 feet above sea level. I just took a look on Google Earth and most of that area is between 9 ft and 13 ft above sea level. Her house must be on significant stilts or she's living in a really big tree. |

The Canary islands have produced MANY tsunamis from volcanic eruptions, landslides, etc....and are poised to do so again. You can "highly doubt" whatever you want, it HAS HAPPENED before, and WILL HAPPEN again, and would be exponentially worse than an EQ triggered tsunami from the Caribbean. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 4302061 United States 01/11/2012 11:09 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm tired of these people predicting a HUGE EARTHQUAKE on the east coast!!!...I'M ON LONG ISLAND and if it does i'm totally screwed. But i don't give a shht,i'm not going anywhere, and i'm bored OVER HERE so where the f*ck is it.... WHERE IS THE DOOM??? I'M STILL WATING!!! |

The "La Palma" doomsday scenario isnt likely because in order for there to be a tsunami, the volcano has to collapase into one big chunk. |
