Pants are wrong leg width for 1980. 1980 is too close to the flair leg era of the late 1970s. Peg leg or fitted leg was not repopularized until the later 80s. They are also in a very modern color. Also, that tiffany lamp is too small and cheap looking. That small economical bell shape tiffany lamps were made popular in the later 1980s and 1990s. The piano is positively orange. Something that happens to light colored wood with age. Now the piano could be older so I'll let that slide. But the square hanging lamp. Seriously? It's a dead give away. That kind of thing might have been popular in the 60s, but I guaranty it wasn't bright red. The sixties had a lot of turquoise and some pinks in decor which moved into oranges and greens and latter baby poop gold in the 70s. Not much was red.

If you understand French (which I do), you can clearly see that he is an actor. A bad one, that is.
