I was raped when I was 14 years old by a big time supporter of a MAJOR southeast conference football program. The United States Army helped me in coming to terms with my victimization and I retired from the Army in large part due to the support given to me. I am grateful that the US Army saw in me the seeds of leadership and honor. This football coach did not practice due diligence when notified of these indiscretions regarding his assistant coach...just like the people who became aware of my sexual molestation by a known pedophile who just happened to be a bigshot supporter of the major college football program. There is no closure for the victims of these atrocities...not yet. The legacy of this football coach is forever tarnished by his indiscretion.
