The strap on this sweet 5 string came free at the bottom and snapped off it's neck as it hit the concrete. No one will touch it. I keep promising myself to do it.... After that, we painted quarter sized washers with enamel paint, and installed them on every guitar and bass. Bought that at the New Orleans Music Exchange on Magazine in '97. Now it's wall art. -- TRUST THE PLAN -- .......WWG1WGA...... ____________________________ still in awe of many things |

It was the strangest thing to see...it kind of just flew open. Someone in the audience later tells him it's a common thing with those guitars. Luckily, it was repaired. Just like the fan told him...it actually WAS better after the fix. That was bizarre. -- TRUST THE PLAN -- .......WWG1WGA...... ____________________________ still in awe of many things |

Yeah I actually hear about Les Pauls necks cracking a lot as well.. There's uneven weight distribution, not to mention the guitar itself is way to freakin heavy. That'd be the weirdest shit to see that on stage though.. Lol |

The rock and roll Gods can be such dicks every now and then Gah! The worst thing that ever happened to me was when laid down my guitar & dove off of a 6' high stage during a drum solo & slammed into the concrete floor with nothing breaking my fall... stage-diving was a big thing back then. The crowd wasn't packed enough on the side of the stage I ran to & dove off of & I guess the ones that were there kinda shied-away from the 6'3" 220lb meat-missile that was flying towards them unexpectedly... *BWAM!* It knocked the wind outa me & I -then- still had to get back up & finish the song/set. I almost did that once, but I was smart enough to have locking strap connectors on my axe, so I just knocked myself in the head! I was drunk as fuck at the time so it didn't matter, plus we were playing death metal in that band so no one gave a fuck either way.
