Last winter at this time, we had I don't even know how many FEET of snow; and the winter before that, and the winter before that! I've been outside a few days this past January in a t-shirt. Yeah, I'd say something is up and I have two choices; Global Warming, or Fukishima. Maybe both, but I don't care what anybody says, this isn't at all normal. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 9603971 United States 02/06/2012 07:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Something "very" strange is going on in the upper midwest...a winter with little to no snow....something that just NEVER happens in this part of the USA. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 7991622 Temperatures have been extremely mild all winter. Extremely...its more like fall never stopped and winter never came. There are tiny patches of snow but no snow cover like normal... and most everywhere you look its brown farm fields or sodden grassy stubble. This is NOT normal AT ALL. Ask anyone from the area...theres never been a winter in Minnesota with no snow. It just doesnt happen. Its as out of place as flooding in the sahara desert. Somethings definately wierd going on with the weather! Let me guess, you're around 25 years old. |

It was a beautiful sunny, sprin, er, winter day. I guess I do remember similar weather at this time of year, but I was at Fort Bliss, Texas doing my AIT for the army. My in laws are farmers in their 70's and they know the weather is off. |

No summer and rain two year in a row. No flooding where i am, but freezing here in summer. Dread to think what our winter will be, Nothing grew in the garden this year all stunted. Months of no sun. Cloud cover day in and day out. Quoting: grasptheuniverse Great i don;'t like the summer heat anyway |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1331460 United States 03/23/2012 11:28 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Here in Minnesota the final tally on snowfall came to an end at 22 inches for the entire winter. Last year it was a high 68 inches. Average winter is 48 inches So that gives you an example of the warm winter and here in Minnesota it was record warmth and earliest ice out on the lakes ever This is the winter that everyone would love. I think it comes down to the Japan Quake that shifted the earth axis. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 3987337 IMO OP is full of shit. Not any more. The lakes have already melted, ice out generally isnt until April. There should be Winnebagos out on the ice in the beginning of Febuary, Denial is simply stupid. One storm that quickly melts away is not winter, it snowed in Suadia Arabia in July, was that winter? There was no winter in the United states this year, period |
