Some EQ at slighter depth, last 5 EQ at 12, 15, 12, 12 and 13 km. Suggests things are evolving with every 4 hr (if so) cycle.

and what is really extremely useful is that now volcanologists set there gas analyzer :
the most important feature of Hekla eruptions is that they start almost immediately after a very short series of increasing volcanotectonic activity "without warning "(not the case as for many other volcanoes!). period of this series before the sudden explosive eruption
may be just a few hours or not at all.
that is why it is so important gas analyzer at the top :
fixing a sharp change in the composition of gases evolved give at least some chance of time to warn residents and implement evacuation.
but for tourists walking at that time on Hekla slopes almost no chances to avoid death: as I understand mobile phones around Hekla mostly inaccessible, and warn them no one has time. i would't walk there now
