look at all the Very Long Period signals

all of them, from Lerwick in the north to Jersey in the south

that unusual signal is back again, and you can even see it at the very low scale they have it set at, 10000 microvolts, although Jersey is set at 2000 microvolts

the interesting thing though, is Lerwick, at 10000 microvolts is showing a much bigger signal than Jersey, at 2000 microvolts.

the higher the microvolt, the less sensitive it is.

Lerwick is a few hundred miles from Iceland, Jersey is about 1200 miles from Iceland.

in fact all the Scottish charts are showing a good signal.

Market Rasen you're thinking of, but that's on the Short period chart, which shows nearby signals. these very long period charts show BIG signals, and they can pick them up from all over the world, but i REALLY suspect Katla now.

As to the Faeroes, after all they are tops of underwater ridge which was formed as a result of eruptions in the Cenozoic Era therefore wouldn't be surprised to the beginning there any event as El-Hierro type (by Surtsey too there not too far). And about Haverah Park and Jersey: whether there are there nearby ancient volcanoes, or than you explain such charts?

I think that it is realistic possibility, though I personally would add one more component, destabilization of plates - the edge shakes and presses on the Icelandic paper clip that should affect and all areas nearby.

According to seismic data, the culmination phase of the eruption occurred from 21:27 till 22:10 UTC on March 08, a magnitude of volcanic tremor was 7.52 µm/s at that time. From 23:00 UTC on March 08, volcanic tremor was not registering. Ash plumes from pyroclastic deposits rose up to 26,200 ft (8 km) a.s.l. and extended to the northeast of the volcano on the height about 19,700 ft (6 km) a.s.l. At about 00:15 UTC on March 09, probably a new portion of ash began to extending a little to northern to northeast of the volcano. According to satellite data, a length of ash plume was about 434 mi (700 km) at 04:32 UTC on March 09. At present, the moderate eruption is continuing.
