Hip Hop culture and "rap music" have nothing to do with spiritual development. In fact they are diametrically opposed to any sort of inner personal development.

Hip hop preaches to only consider inwardly, "it's all about me". That is the essential nature of hip hop. Ego, vanity, conceit, to outright hatred of people you never met, and even your neighbors. Hip hop represents a culture that is unsustainable without the welfare state, and is ultimately based on childish feelings of entitlement.

Even the examples that you have posted do nothing to represent spiritual development. While they are not telling the other monkeys to go shoot up their neighborhoods, there is nothing worthy of "spirit" represented here.
