This is one person every three and a half seconds, as you can see on this display. Unfortunately, it is children who die most often. Yet there is plenty of food in the world for everyone. The problem is that hungry people are trapped in severe poverty. They lack the money to buy enough food to nourish themselves. Being constantly malnourished, they become weaker and often sick. how can this be if we are one? are we really one? wonder how many die from bombs, guns and the like but we are one.... some are fighting with everything the have towards the goal of resembling being one, but many more do nothing other than proclaim "we are one"   |

Quoting: exiled1 I agree but, having been involved in mission trips I can tell you that much food and supplies are sent..unfortunately, it sits on the docks until someone lines $$$ the pockets of the corrupt police and officials in those countries..One crate at a time..being held hostage until bribes are given to release the food..one crate at a time..their own country is with-holding the food that is sent in return for personal gain..it is sickening.. |

Those are the places America needs to be concentrating efforts on, instead of middle east politics..of course thats where the money is at though...
