I'm from Maryland and I noticed that the two streaks over the state seem to run next to major military installations. The more eastern of the two runs over Aberdeen Proving Ground, Edgewood Arsenal, and Martins AFB. The more western of the two runs near Ft. Meade. Aberdeen Proving Ground and Edgewood Arsenal seem to have a lot of strange or peculiar things about them as well. I live near both and often can hear the weapons testing. I know for a fact that there are large storages of chemical weapons at Edgewood. In high school, we had to do pressurization drills once a month where the entire school would pile into the gym and we would seal the gym and pressurize it to keep the gas out. There are sirens all over the community they test once a week (every Wed. at 4) that are to alert of potential chemical weapons leaks. There is constant military air traffic all over the area, and chemtrails are a regular occurrence (until I was about 18, I thought it was normal for contrails to stay for at least 6 hours!). These two bases are always heavily guarded and secured, even before 9/11. One of my friend's dad is an army chemist out there, and he is not allowed to even discuss what he does. The only way I knew that he was a chemist was because he is a doctor and the insignia on his uniform is from the chemical corps. He is very secretive and often disappears late at night to go to work, apparently at a moment's notice (he has two pagers, a govt. one and his regular one). Aberdeen Proving Grounds is the United States' largest military testing facility, and Edgewood Arsenal is it's largest store of arms. I could fill a book with the peculiarities of these two installations. Source: |

This sounds pretty series if it spreads that easy and fast. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1515668 IF true, we need to find out HOW the Mother got it. Has to be more than influ / bacteria. That was my thought, too, about the mother. Where would an 83-year-old woman pick up the flu and a staph infection, seemingly at the same time? Had she been for tests at some medical facility? For a flu shot? The virulence of this infection and the serendipitous staph co-infection is definitely grounds for alarm bells to be ringing. |

'The reason is that for most infections, transmission rate is not 100 percent and the fatality rate is not 100 percent, he said. If the woman’s hospitalized daughter dies, the case fatality rate will be 100 percent,' he explained. Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 1494402 Canada 03/07/2012 07:18 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Perhaps you find a 100% kill rate of an as yet unidentified illness or series of co-infections to be "overrated", but I certainly don't. The locals in Lusby are terrified and are being told nothing by the local health department other than what we all know through the mainstream news media. If I lived in a community where 4 of 5 members of one family all dropped dead of some as yet unidentified and obviously highly contagious illness, the last thought would be that the 'story' was 'overrated'. You have an odd sense of what qualifies as important. |
Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 1494402 Canada 03/07/2012 07:19 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The official explanation is that the flu was complicated by a staph infection in all of the victims as well as the one surviving family member. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 838419 so, the flu alone is not the real problem!!! Actually, no-one is sure yet what the actual illness is. There are conflicting reports on that as well. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1062660 FML. You're missing the point. The people who were ill and died were all caregivers of what appears to be the first case. They caught whatever she had, and died, too. Death from influenza is not common in people in their 50s. I'm not sure where you got the idea that it is. That HAZMAT suits were worn by investigators testing the house where the people got ill is a red flag in itself. |

Every so often we'd hear the explosions as ordnance was blown up. We never saw any shells flying or things splashing into the bay, which is quite a few miles wide there. Both Edgewood and Aberdeen are on Chesapeake Bay, so I doubt they would build too much underground there. I never heard any rumors of underground activities in those locations. But they surely have super secret laboratories in the usual type of buildings. |

Let's all hope this isin't too too serious..what upsets me is the funeral director died from this saying that this spreads VERY easily. The fact that they used Hazmat suits is concerning too. Hopefully isolated incidents and have it contained. Also..is this the same Maryland that just got ravaged by the tornado? Have to say this...possibility of a zombie coverup? I know it sounds ridiculous but they HAVE engineered such a virus 5 Stars |
