You know it takes a while after being enveloped by a CME before the outages/damage starts right? The magnetic field needs to reverberate around quite a bit before a charge is built up and since we're still in the midst of it..

Not saying anything will happen with this particular CME yet, but we're certainly not out of the woods yet.

I never saw that site, don't know what it is, but the Ace Satellite IS reporting data and did all night. During that whatever spike that is on Nict around 9 utc, there is simply a brief absence of information for a matter of seconds, so I assume the spike is actually just a data glitch.

so the picture look much better than last night when the red was wrapped up to the top and then through the middle. The blue was one solid line and then found on the bottom, with a few lines that looked lost.

This morning things look more organized and safe.
