OP ... I personally do not believe in God, or Satan ... I believe there is a creative energy in the universe that is unpersonal. But that does not matter here:
That there are people who obviously believe in the evil powers of a Satan, like your video and all the stuff on vigilantcitizen.com prove beyond any doubt, is reason enough to stand side to side with all, no matter what believe and confession, who are against them.

OK, so I watched the video. It was the first Katy Perry video I have ever seen. I was attracted by the thread headline. I mean, who WOULDN'T want to see the "Most Evil Music Video"? LOL

What I saw was a masterpiece of cinematic/CGI art. The music was brilliant, especially the counterpoint provided by the rapper. It was, perhaps, a little "dark" in places. I could have done without the dying animals, but that's just me. Perhaps there was a point to it, but I missed it.

My over-riding thought during the video was, "I wish I could understand the lyrics.". So I went to the lyrics link and read them. Nothing especially "evil" there either. Hmmmmm

All in all it was fine art, with enough edginess to inspire five pages of comments but hardly "evil" in the classical sense. Having read the comments above I can only conclude that evil, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder.

I'm not familiar, don't listen to her music but of course i've seen her on a lot of award shows, some interviews etc. She comes off as the most innocent squeaky clean girl. I bet there are tons of young girls who want to be like her and their moms have no idea who she really is. Or what I should say.

Let me be clear that I think the music industry in today's world has turned into a big smelly turd and this video exemplifies that fact. But anyone who uses the "children excuse" should be horse whipped. How about taking responsibility for your kids and what they are subjected to. Don't you see that's how repression on a society is started and grows into censorship and freedom erosion? Using "kids" as an excuse has already festered into the drug laws that are responsible for our loss of constitutional privacy and freedom. And now they can "legally" bust your door down and storm trooper your home with a SWAT team looking for drugs, guns or money. It all started with the drug laws and now has expanded to scatter back x-rays at airports, TSA patdowns, illegal search and seizures, internet spying on citizens, wire and wireless communications tapping and police who think they are still in Iraq or Afghanistan and treats the public that way. Why should free thinking adults be deprived of their personal freedoms because some parents can't handle their parental responsibilities? Why must laws be made that infringe on adult liberty simply because parents have given their responsibilities over to the government? How many freedoms have adults lost because of the "children excuse"? Control nuts like you OP just add to the erosion of liberty in this nation. As long as you keep playing the fear card, this country will sink more and more into a shit hole where no personal sovereign freedom exists. If you view the world as just good or evil, you will be locked into a world of just white or black where no shades of gray exist. And the shades of gray are where lessons are learned in this life.

The thread is someones conjecture that ones work seems at odds with perrys early life and claims, and that she's sold out, and since that's essentially obvious, youre on about almost anything else.
The facts:
Perry pronouced christian faith and failed at fame.
Perry now successful makes commentary that seems to be backed up by her catalogue, and the obvious, known predilection of the entertainment industry to deride any faith that claims rights to their own messiah.
