So, it's August...and everything is calm and peaceful. No sign of doom for a while.

So the Economic Crash. The world wide Droughts. The flooding of the Phillipines .Mass animal die offs aren't anything? Were only half way through! Millions of people affected worldwide by some of these things would beg to differ.

Wow! I was thinking of that same exact thing earlier. It has been the most non-eventful year as I can remember.

The biggest stories of 2012 besides the non-doom great Olympics has been Whitney Houston's death, and freaking George Zimmerman shooting Travvon Martin (biggest doom of the year!)

Perhaps it is the calm before the storm. A grand finale that happens around October-December? Time will tell, but 2012 that was supposed to be the biggest doom year in history has turned out to be the biggest non doom year in history so far! LOL
