Earlier this morning I read a story in the daily mail that stated there was several "drunk" Special Forces soldiers. Now it's only one soldier that had a mental breakdown.

Ok fine...but can someone please explain to me how ONE soldier could kill 11 people, and pour chemicals on their bodies and set them afire, in a village, without anyone amongst them putting ONE soldier down?

This story stinks!

This is Tragic News but I am not suprised.

While our Men and Women are in harms way, their families and friends at home are suffering sever Financial Hardships and Meltdowns.

We have seen the Erosion of the Economy and Middle Class down to poverty levels.

We have seen the Erosion of Military Ethics and Standards.

I have long feared that when they bring all of these war veterans home that many or some of them will go AWOL.

Either war will be away from the United States or come home to the United States....hopefully not both.

Pray for our World Leaders to somehow find peace and tranquility between themselves and their peoples.

"Based on the preliminary information we have this account is flatly wrong," the official said. "We believe one U.S. service member acted alone, not a group of U.S. soldiers."

This is just another "perception management" exercise. This is not some isoalted case as "they" want you to believe.

Obama will go on the tube with warm fuzzy heartfelt apologies and the statement:

"We go out of our way to avoid harming civilians."

Sure we do.

Any number of vietnam vets that I've known told me the same thing: they killed civilians as a matter of routine. Women and children can toss grenades into helicopters and jeeps as readily as any uniformed soldier.

The mai lai massacre was not the isolated case that it was portrayed to be. It was just another dog and pony show to mold public perception just like in this case.

Unfortunately, there are many highly paid individuals on the gooberment payroll whose job is perception management.

the giveaway on the euro news bulletins has been the mother of a 2 year old, her words are translated as 'they came and shot him' over and over every 15 minutes in the headlines. even my elderly mother caught that one.

You read the same story I read. But I think it is a set up for the US to exit the region..in other words these soldiers were perhaps just following orders.
