(posted from another Toba thread\/\/) [link to ees2.geo.rpi.edu] Quoting: Anonymous Coward 18230679 interesting little map of all the seismic stations around Toba now then, let's see if i can find one of their charts posted online... nah, you don't really think i'll even bother looking, do you? no way I'll find one. look at the way they have crossed the broadband stations in two neat lines intersecting on the NE coast of Toba, and straight through the middle of the resurgent dome? and the way all the short period charts are evenly spread across the whole area. also, look at the lines of GPS marks. they are watching this baby like a HAWK! they will indicate minute uplifts. broadband stations are much more sensitive than short period stations, and the way they are crossing them there shows they are pinpointing something. the short period stations are keeping an eye on the entire area for rumbling. |
