WINCHESTER, England, April 12 (UPI) -- International high-IQ society Mensa said it has accepted a 4-year-old British girl whose IQ is only 1 point less than that of physicist Stephen Hawking.

John Stevenage, chief executive of British Mensa, said the organization was proud to welcome Heidi Hankins of Winchester, England, into its ranks after she scored a 159 on an IQ test, putting her just 1 point behind fellow Mensa member Hawking's 160 IQ, The Sun reported Thursday.

Sounds like a fake story

150 isn't all that high, in the world of high IQ that is. I was tested at 150, my husband is in the 170 range.

Also, Mensa is about as exclusive as McDonalds. It's is in the low end of those groups, not very impressive

Vertex is more exclusive and begins at 160, omega, tetra, pars and the various sigma groups, one of which begins over 175

I also sincerely doubt that Stephen Hawking is only 160

so what.. i can guarentee you i am way smarter than she could ever be and my iq would look like 137 yet in reality iq is just a stupid fake number that is fake intelligence of the fake world.. that being said i dont get why you all get excited with high iq people.. i personally see them as robots that can compute things amongst fakes and impress them yet i bet none with such an iq could ever impress me..

IQ shows the potentiality of your mind's capabilities. If you have an extremely above average IQ, well you have the potential to be a lot more productive in your life because of your advanced mental prowess.. 'Wisdom' is not necessarily needed as opposed to something like.. 'motivation' to use your mental abilities for your own benefit.

Ah, but exactly. You are talking about Carreer and the material side of things. What about spiritual maturity/wisdom? They have nothing to do with being "productive" (In a totally failed/corrupted system...yet most high IQ people never realize this).

so when she starts getting PMS, she can find a cure for that because of her IQ then she won't be depressed anymore from PMS, then she can conquer the world!

Where can you take an IQ test? I am 28 years of age and I have no idea what my IQ is?

I took a test like this a few years back and it told me I was mildly retarded :(. Im I'm frightened to do another one incase it confirms the diagnosis.

I have never taken one other than stuff online and I never received results because it wanted a payment or something.
