Absolutely not and I am furious that you asked.

I live in Australia and the Carbon Tax has already been passed and we will start being taxed very soon.

This means that my family who are already environmentally conscious, do our best to neutralize our carbon footprint and are struggling to pay the bills and rent as it is, will soon become homeless because we can't afford to fork out any extra money for this tax.

Why would I wish that upon other people and families?

I would like to know where the funds raised from this carbon tax are going to go, and I would like to see proof. The Australian Prime Minister, Julia Gillard (the lizard bitch regurgitated from the filthy bowels of hell) has already lied to us about a lot of things, I am pretty sure that she is lying to us about where the carbon tax funds are going to be put towards.

I am sure as hell that those funds raised from the carbon tax will be going into the politicians back pockets and not towards fixing/reducing the effects of climate change.

It is very, very likely that my family will become homeless within the next year, just so those politicians can increase their salaries with the aid of this "carbon tax" These politicians contribute to the worlds carbon emissions much more than I do. You don't see me jet-setting around the world. You don't see me driving posh cars (I don't even drive, it is walking or riding a bike for me) You don't see me wearing expensive designer clothes imported from Paris. What you will see me doing is recycling, turning my electrical appliances off at the power-point when I am not using them. Planting trees and attending to my lovely garden (which is filled with native plants and watered with recycled water from my washing machine) it's not fair that someone like me, who is environmentally conscious and struggling financially could very likely become homeless after the carbon tax, just so these politicians who contribute much more to the worlds carbon emissions than I ever will, can become richer.

I guarantee you that your country introducing the carbon tax will not help reduce carbon emissions and the funds raised will go straight into the politicians pockets rather than towards reducing CO2 emissions and towards repairing the environment.

People used to joke about how one day we will be taxed for breathing, well now that has become a reality.

Climate change is real, whether or not it is being caused by humans is debatable. One thing is for sure though, we are all going to be scammed in a major way with this carbon tax and sheeple like you make it easier for the politicians to scam the rest of us.

1 gallon of gas equals 19 lbs of carbon dioxide...admit that false statement you tards use and we will talk. Here is why.

When you burn gasoline you get two basic exhaust chemicals, hydrogen and carbon....The hydrogen combines with oxygen molecules to produce H20 or water vapor...This vapor condenses in the upper atmosphere and falls harmlessly back to earth as rain...The carbon however combines with 2 atoms of oxygen and becomes C02 or carbon dioxide, the deadly environment killer.

Now here is where your math goes wrong....the oxygen already existed in the atmosphere....another words 72% of the weight you quote already exists....Only 28% of the output is carbon. This would mean that a gallon of gas only adds 5.32 lbs of pollutants into the atmosphere per gallon of gas....the other 13.68% already existed.

So admit the true output of carbon per gallon of gas is much less than ecotards lead us to believe before we can even talk about signing a petition.
