Odd?

Depends on the tree, some trees flowers are also green, like avocados, so the tree will drop it's leaves while flowers bloom so it is pollinated easier, then re grows leaves. Not sure what other trees may do this..

I'm near Salem, Oregon & everything seems to be 4-6 weeks late. Usually get daffodils in mid-Feb - none this year til late March, by which time they're usually all gone. While most are gone there are still some out there. Tulips just started blooming a week ago - usually it's mid-March.
note: when I say 'usually' I mean before last year. Last year was almost as odd as this year.

Intersting, my spring bulbs have appeared here in australia, and we just hit autumn.

Read books about after Hiroshima, and the next Winter that came up, after Nuclear Bombing (from Radiation in air), that trees, flowered extremely early, like in mid Winter, or early Winter, the radiation in the air, threw everything off with Mother Nature. This is well documented in many books before Internet, and after Hiroshima incident.

Don't have a good Geiger Counter anymore, and need one that can measure Alpha, Beta and Gamma Radiation, plus Radon Gas in the air, which is a bit tricky.

Why so racist against Pine trees? They stay green all year, kill weeds around them with their needles, therefore no trimming, and they smell motherfucking great!

Well, over here autumn should be way more advanced by now, it's just starting though... and on my way to college there's a jasmine plant that just bloomed and it's very fragant... that particular plant I've seen it only bloom on spring, not in this time of the year. I know how it behaves because I like the smell =P

The trees here in the southern adirondacks look strange! the freezing cold nights have killed many of the leaves and a lot of trees have already changed colors.......... hope they re-bud fast cause it's a sorry sight

We are seeing a large number of fireflies here in Western North Carolina. I have never seen them before early-mid June. We started seeing them the second week of April. Weird.

Jasmine only blooms in late spring, its really the radiation in the air, that "TPTB" are not telling about, as to not frighten the Common Sheeple (Masses). All done by glorious G.E. with their BWR Nuclear Reactor Plants, that were never done correctly with safety provisions in Cooling/Power Mechanisms as like in Japan. And this could of been averted back from 1973.

Its like that great expression "Human Stupidity is Job Security", be it for Fire Marshals, Police, Body Repair Shops, and of course FBI (but not for them, but about them).

I wouldn't mind if he planted them in the right places but he plants the dam things everywhere and when they get big they block my view of everythign. I told him to just put a big tall fence around our property several hundred feet high and it would have the same effect. of course he doesn't get my opinion when he plants the damn things everywhere. there are two of them right outside of my picture window in the livng room and I can't see ten feet out the window. I'm tempted to hire soemone to cut them down while he's at work. I should have did it myself before they got so big. I really don't know why we even have windows in the house.

I guess I would say the weather. Trees here got green early, my plants outside started coming up in February when we had some 70* days (weeks).

But...I still don't understand the mushrooms growing under the plants in Feb plus since then some plants have turned black not to mention the messed up tree leaves.
