There's a moderate version of Islam which is quite palatable to Western ears, however the radical Islamists go on about removing all "undesirables" from society, i.e send all jewish people, gays, and anyone left of Ghengis Khan to concentration camps, and they genuinly mean it. These statements are directly lifted from nazi ideology. They regurgitate this parrot-like from their local Wahabi bankrolled mosque and many of these people live in the West; as such they're dangerous and potentially violent people. I'd say the same thing about any group which expressed such sentiments. FWIW, moderate Muslims I've worked with and known are some of the nicest people I've ever met, including friends who've gone on the Haj. |
