I've heard of these 'Lights', in and around Blue Springs MO years back, like in the 90's. :-/

"these lights" or some kind of lights, which necessarily wouldn't be lights in the sky. But still some unexplained source of some kind of light. *memory is foggy*

Why do stars twinkle?
This is caused by the atmosphere. The atmosphere is moving around, and there are various currents of different density and temperature, etc.

Stars seem to glimmer, changing intensity. When you look up at them, you are viewing them through 100 miles of atmosphere, and because they are so far away they appear no more than tiny dots of light. these tiny points refract through the atmosphere catching dust particles and water vapour, causing the star to flash or twinkle. stars closer to the horizon have more atmosphere to shine through, causing them to twinkle more. Strangely planets do not twinkle, this is due to them reflecting light, and the fact that they are a lot closer.

I live near KC and they have had bizzar sightings for a long time now. People were pulled over on the Interstate watching a huge object in the sky a while back

I think most people confuse lights in the sky phenomenon with UFO's, they are different.
Because a UFO is an actual confirmed object physical object a light can be anything.

I saw this exact same light last year. Norcal bay area. It was out for about a month around August. It would move around slowly and pulse/blink purple/red/blue. Always in the same area of the sky and always at the same time, around 7:30pm to 8:30pm.

I video recorded a rocket launch during the day from Vandenberg AFB with a camera that had 120x optical zoom, and that rocket went out of sight before it got halfway up to orbital altitude. So HOW THE FUCK are you going to see a satellite with the naked eye at nighttime at twice the altitude of the rocket that brought it there???

or twinkling is caused from the object tumbling, or rotating with lights like many saucer descriptions, but at the end of the day unless it is positively identified the FACT is its a UFO !

Well the video they show sure looks like Sirius to me.

I agree with some of the posters on the news sight where the video is posted. If you have spent time over the years just looking up at the stars, there has been a increasing number of the blue, red, and other color UFO's.

I also think some of them are UAV's, some I think are paranormal. There are some people that see a lot of these and all have opinions, most can't explain all of them with our known technology.

I do not think they are good, that they are hanging out to protect us, bond with us in a positive way.

You can see multiple satellites crossing the sky on any clear night. They appear as points of light like stars to the naked eye. The visible ones are reflecting sunlight.

And how did you come to this conclusion? Let me guess. You personally visited every single system and planet in the universe to be absolutely sure. Right?

It's not a star either. It's a satellite. I've seen a couple shows prove this.
