They say "In the future"...but they are preparing us for the inevitable. A collision of Galaxies means new planets....new orbits...re arrangements.... even new life forms. like a giant cosmic game of billiards "Because of uncertainties in Andromeda's motion, it has not been possible to determine whether the Milky Way will have a head-on collision or glancing blow with the neighboring galaxy billions of years in the future," NASA officials said in a media alert Friday (May 25). "Hubble's precise observations will settle this question." Seems to me it is more or less to say how the collision will be head on or a blow not that it will be sooner. However I guess in 2 days we will know. Oldmotherhubbardglp (at) live.com ~mistakes are proof that you are trying~ ~be kind to unkind people, for they are the ones that need it the most~ |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 14770674 United States 05/29/2012 03:36 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | findings about the inevitable crash of the Milky Way and Andromeda galaxies, which will occur billions of years from now. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14702788 I think it has all ready been occuring. I have had dreams about it. Looking up inn the sky and seieng two spiral glalxies colliding. Giants on the earth helping with ensuing chaos. that was just a dream though.......??? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 16868248 United Kingdom 05/29/2012 03:42 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Two galaxy's crashing into each other? That's just insane the chaos that would cause. Quoting: Tanarus very few actual collisions would happen though, because of the immense spaces between objects in both galaxies the gravitational effects though would be the real chaos maker it would be VERY cool to see. I hope it's something i get to see when I pop my clogs. |

snillozikim User ID: 8239845 United States 05/29/2012 04:00 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | haha how stupid are you people? if our galaxy 'crashed' into another galaxy, no planets orbits or anything would be changed at all....you morons must think a galaxy is like as big as a car.....two galaxys would pass right through one another...any gravitational changes would be too broad and wouldnt affect star systems, just maybe the position of the mother star.... jesus christ, read some BOOKS or go to COLLEGE idiots |
