What I dont understand is how Carla Nash the Chimp victim and Mr Poppo succumbed to the attack without a fight? Even kids will fight back with all their might and many in recent news have escaped a near kidnapping even after the attacked grabbed them. A smaller child was seen flailing and screaming in a Walmart video and the perp who grabbed her let her go.
Even if someone is stronger than you, adrenaline and the will to live can make you overcome your attacker if they arent using weapons.

The actual report states that the cannibal man did indeed eat and ingest the victim's flesh.

I cant understand what would trigger Eugene to eat his target. I understand the nakedness now because of the heat. Perhaps he was very frustrated with his life and his judgement was clouded. But, how all of this translates to directly to random cannibalism is just beyond my understanding. This act was SPIRITUAL. Period.

Something like this I imagine drugs played a large roll into it. But I could imagine that being homeless and perhaps hungry, perhaps he wanted to lash out at the world during a moment of intense stress and frustration. Perhaps that and drugs, but more likely drugs. The good thing is that he's dead.

Never mind the hungry and homeless part, just read that the attacker wasn't a homeless man.

The fact that something happened to this man, something evil possessed this man on his trek and that evil made him act this way. The same evil stopped the victim from trying to flee. The victim most likely didnt see the face of the man but of the evil possessing that man.
