Good luck with that. Short of armed conflict, where anyone with grey hair is the target of anyone who is younger than 30, it will never happen. I love it when Baby Boomers try to act tough, especially talking shit to their own children in an effort to convince themselves that they're not a generation of worthless fuck-ups, blowhards, and nobodies. Change is coming whether you like it or not, bub. Not Obama, but when the bottom finally falls-out, everybody 45 and under swinging hard to the right and becoming proponents of libertarianism and small government - and then there goes all those government entitlements you desperately need because you pissed-away and squandered everything else. |

Try doing that today. The inflation-adjusted cost of living is up 400-500%. Taxes were low and fees/surcharges were nonexistent. Now Boomers have stooped so low , they want to tax the air we breath (carbon tax). What was that, boomers? Generation nothings as you say = stolen-from generations by a bunch of candy-ass cowards who are disgraces to their parents and got their asses kicked by a bunch of vietnamese midgets. Those generation nothings are actually starving you by sitting around waiting for you to die so they can build a world ruled by personal merit instead of dick-sucking. If you would stop and think about this, you might actually feel sorry for them and for yourselves. most are too self-righteous to admit they screwed up and lack the empathy to care about it you can't fix that when there's a huge population boom, like with the boomers, i guess something happens and there aren't enough souls to go around maybe not sure what it is and i know there are some good, wonderful boomers but i've met way too many who are vapid at best, heartless cold, judgmental and moneygrubbing at worst i think it's funny when they call younger people spoiled from my own memory most of the boomer parents, on a regular basis, put their own wants/desires/etc above their own children and passed the buck on their responsibilities to whoever would take them- their own parents, daycares, schools, nursing homes for their parents, big government for the poor, the police state for crime, big pharma, big ag, monsanto, tepco, etc. all products of a generation of abdicated responsibility and now they send their kids and grandkids off to wars and support police state legislation because they're scared of al-ciada boogeymen but, they made gen x more reliable, spiritually aware we try to live consciously and don't want to be unconscious zombie consumers who care not for the impact that has on the planet or the fact that our rapid consumption affects other people, there is a pie, it is limited and no child should suffer for some greedy adult which is what has been happening in a rapid way the past several decades the abuses and deplorable conditions others live in and deal with so that american boomers can enjoy their glut is appalling, that so many don't even care about their own kids/grandkids and future generations boggles the mind as they call everyone else spoiled my goodness those of us who are awake take care of our own kids don't feed them poison don't serve up hamburger helper every other night or depend on take out, carry out or frozen prepared foods seek natural cures instead of doing whatever the big pharma trained doctor tells us spend our money on vacations we can't afford to impress our friends don't judge a person by how much they make ask important questions and trust no one until they prove that they've earned it so i guess we should thank them for at least that much i see them, as a whole (not individually as there are some wonderful ones!) as the epitome of what i do not want to be. ever. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 7242673 United Kingdom 06/19/2012 05:11 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Very few people know how to raise a child to its maximum potential whilst balancing societal or world changing events, and to do all that as they live their own life which itself was coaxed into existence by an equally broken preceeding generation. The cock-smoking elite haven't exactly done their best to foster a well rounded and grounded individual with all his emotional and sexual functioning satisfied. So many kids are beaten and damaged for life by broken parents who couldn't cope with their own damage. The lucky ones who are treated well still don't turn out fantastic, shit happens in life as they say, some winners and a whole lot of losers! Society is set up for that anyway.. it functions on competition. Generation Y/Z has a greater awareness of the futility of modern working life in a broken society/world that seems to be on the brink of great change, can you really expect rational and grounded behaviour when you're raised into the world right now by previous generations of broken children! |
