Notice how the moons / planets that are not with Sol appear to sort of be in a "planet of the crossing" style formation.
(I saw this as trying to depict a 3D object on a 2D surface.)

My second observation is how the lines around Sol sort of look like the "All Seeing Eye", using Sol as the pupil.

Last the "object" in front of the right formation appears to
be drawing a line almost as if to cloak the group.

My very first thought before studying the image more was some sort of electric field around Sol, indicating the "switch was about to be pulled". Or it could be ET humor, joking as if to show our solar system getting a "shock treatment".

Am I close? or was this man-made?

Glyph on left reminds me of the sun with a galaxy moving in front of it. The spiral line coming out of 9th upper sun ray looks like another planet spiraling from behind the sun directly into the earth (if you continue the spiral pattern).

Glyph on right looks like a time table start and end clock. Left 'v' looks like 8:50?? (or 10/11 before 9) and right 'v' looks like 3:10... maybe to represent month/day (or day/month for Europeans?)

Then again, maybe some aliens had a couple too many pints.
