I agree.

A good person is aware that other people are equally real and deserve to be treated as he would like to be treated.
A good person is unselfish.
A good person is fair and kind.

It all depends on if you leave the world a better place with your existence, you'll know in the end.

A good person never sleeps with his brother's girlfriend.

The sum destructive consumptive are bad.

You can apply this simple formula to ANY ONE or any system:
Economic, Food, Energy, Education, All relationships, All systems of Government, All Religion, All living things in the Universe.

Said another way even more simply:
Good gives
Evil takes

good person = whole person

dedication towards truth and harmony
understanding that you should take what you need and let the rest trickle down to the less fortunate (be it deeds, $$, knowledge, w/e. if you have way more than enough, than you have too much. everything in moderation)
and understanding that knowledge and the keys to happiness will not be handed to you, you must spend time and money to receive them (and if you give away your excess you'll always have a reason to work to stay afloat and will fill your own life with tons of meaning)
ability to handle situations with your brain first and your emotions second, neither are kept well when bottled up
ACCOUNTABILITY!!!!! you GET WHAT YOU ASK FOR!!! imho the biggest one, and the basis for the whole 99% scenario. if you ask with lies and greed, you get what you want and then find trouble. if you ask with truth and love, others will give to you freely b/cuz they'll realize how awesome you are as a person!

To the first point, I do see the attempt here but the statement does not ring true. Some people will stand for damn near anything.
If they "stand up" for believing in- let's say- thinning the herd by killing off everyone over the age of 77 years old?
Few would say
"well give the guy credit- at least he stood up for what he believes in despite whatever everyone else thinks...he's a good man"

The content of ones character-- intentions, means of action and results thereof-- this is the measure

i forget the specific wording but theres a saying about hardship making men while luxury makes monsters. basically the rich and powerfull are the most corrupt and evil devils and the poor common folk struggling with poverty and oppression are the good moral people.

i would define a good person a person that helps out others without expecting rewards or even acknowledgement. if you tell them the good deed that you did for them, obviously you are wanting a pat on the head and you may need to see a psychiatrist about that.

I think if you live this "Do no harm."

"Since you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me." That is it.

The definition has bothered me too.
After some thought, I thing that the classic bible quote sums it up quite well:

A good person treats others the same way he would like to be treated himself.
A bad person does not.

Then I begun to wonder what if the subject is a masochist..lol.

I hate walls of scripture too. I don't know why people do that.

A stupid person gives money to their state. I know we have to but to feel good about is just wrong. Bad people control the state and spend the money they take from good people. Anyone that demands from others the goods of others toils to spend to enrich theirself in any manner is a bad person.

Empathy

They have the spirit of the creator in their being, and that is good.

Someone with the guts to be themselves outside of the "game".

Someone who does not judge.

Someone who can handle all that life throws at him/her.

Someone who still holds family values to be true.

Good Person - An Open minded , positive thinker person who accepts anyone regardless of religion, race and standard of living

Bad Person - Who loves to hate, envy and ridicule other people.

A good person is someone who tries their hardest to make peace with ANYONE. And even if they fail due to their own inner beast they must still try the next day to stay on the right path and overcome their inner beast. The right path is peace with anyone and everyone. Is it possible ? Probably not. But it is needed ? Absolutely.
