Poll: Would you let an openly-Straight man babysit your little girl?

No man would ever be babysitting a child even if it was his own. Are you that crazy to actually trust a guy who can't fend for himself, let alone a kid?

Again, if you looked at hard data I suspect you find that most wouldn't unless he was biologically related to the child.

You don't even let the biological ones babysit their own children. He's no t fit most times to even be around kids. Haven't you been reading the news articles about the sick fucks who rape and beat and throw their own babies against the walls,etc... only to find out they are guilty of killing their kids?

Ths is unfair...I have three daughters by the way...and I totally trust myself and most of my friends to watch a little girl...men who find children sexually arousing are sick...now once she turns say 14....not so much trust...

wait what? I have two beautiful children and I often take my son and his friends to football practice and other fun events. So as an assistant coach on my sons team, i think that this is a very unfair judgement to all men, some men are pieces of shit and cant handle responsibility but I am not one of those men!

I don't let anyone but my parents and my brother and his fiancee watch my son (and my brother hasn't yet watched him). I don't trust the outside world, not even my friends, with my child.
However he's not yet 2 and we don't have to yet worry about school/after-school activities.

There's a girl who lives in front of me and her bf has felonies on his record for what, violent crimes against women! Stupid cunt is pregnant by this guy, who doesn't work by the way, his record, ya know? So here she is and yes he's beat her before and shes' pregnant. So when she give birth and goes back to work, who do you think is gonna wind up babysitting? yep. Why? Cuz she's that stupid. Now ask yourself, if he beats on her while shes' pregnant, what makes you think he will be a safe bet with a brand new newborn in the same house, esp. one he has to babysit? Hell no! I'd take that kid over to my mama's house or some other family like a sister, an aunt, but he wouldn't be around it. NEVER!

Many women make very poor choices in who they choose to marry and have children with. It's quite sad.

Those two things are very precious and should not be taken lightly. A good man should have to earn that right and a woman should be very selective as to who she shares her heart with.

In defense of women, a good man is really hard to find now.

I think the vast majority of men today would be perfectly capable of taking very good care of a little girl.

The problem is the perverts and you may not spot a pervert easily, so there is a chance of making a very serious mistake.

Still, sometimes people think a man is a pervert and he is not a child molester and is, in fact, very protective of children, but just doesn't have the best judgment in reading material and games.

I was a single parent with a 3 year old girl.

And a neighbor was a woman single parent with another 3 year old girl.

Our kids were friends.

We'd watch each other's kids all the time. In fact, we'd sometimes trade weekends with both kids to give each other a break.

No normal adult male would be interested in babysitting someone else s kids.If he is there is def something wrong. A case here recently where the dude babysitting killed one of the kids. Claimed he went out for cigs and came back to the trailer and she was just gone. She was gone alright.

No one has ever babysat with my children other than their two grandmothers.

There are probably many men (and women) among family & friends that would be trustworthy but I just never wanted to take the chance in trusting anyone else - male or female.

If a grandma couldn't watch them then we just stayed home. But that was rare since the grandma's always wanted to see them.

And there are other things to worry about in babysitters than just sexual or physical abuse although that being a major consideration. The grandmothers were the only two people that I knew that would have given their lives for my children and would protect them to the extent I do.

All guys dont know how to fend for themselves, or kids? Sexist much?
