The quality of the movies themselves have nothing to do with the matter of psycho hatemail. I'm not sure how much you see Batman as a mythology, if at all, maybe your view is limited to pow, bam, biff? They're good movies, Chris Nolan is a fine director, great cast of talented actors, awesome score, scripting and visuals. Reframing the character in cinema was needed, important and successful... the damage has been repaired and the myth regains it's dignity. I could go on about mythology and superheroes, the deeper themes of metahumans and archtype saviors and destroyers and demonstrate how Superman and Hercules are the same thing but that's beyond the scope of this thread and maybe your understanding. Yeah death threats over movie reviews are dumb, modern myth and storytelling however, is not. So lay off Batman yeah?
