Haven't you been having record heat and drought records over there? That could account for some of the train derailments and water main fractures. Heat could be warping the rail lines and the drying up of the earth could affect water main pipes.

There were actually a dozen at the Monmouth Beach area in NJ:

I forgot to add. We just had a water main break here flooding an entire neighbrhood and buckling an entire street. The city was surprised as these mains are good for 70 years but this one busted in half for no apparent reason. They still don't know why it broke as the line is only 7 years old. Also the 144th here has c-130's moving out along with f-16's. WTF is going on!!!!!!!!!????????????

Now I have never seen a sinkhole form, Ive seen a few on the news that crumble away on the edges as they enlarge from the water main breaks and so forth...but this??? Looks like an implosion IMO.

OP.....You missed out on 2 other water main breaks in philadelphia in the last 10 days. There were 2 other breaks in North Phildelphia and in the northeast philadelphia. Its getting bad OP.....I live in Philadelphia so I know. Heres the link..... [link to articles.philly.com]

IS THERE something in the water? City workers were mopping up Wednesday after the city's third water-main break in 10 days. Early in the morning, a nearly 100-year-old main burst, flooding the area around Front and Tioga streets in North Philadelphia.

Millions of gallons of water have poured into the streets because of main breaks in recent days. Crews are still cleaning up from a massive main break that occurred 11 days ago at 21st and Bainbridge streets in Southwest Center City.

A smaller break in the Northeast, at Willits Street and Ashton Road, occurred on Sunday and has been fixed.

Plus all the volcanoes all over the world becoming active, some of which have been dormant for hundreds of years .

Thats why the magnetosphere has been acting so weak. Mild solar storms are giving the magnetopause fits. When the geodynamo core is slowing not enough electromagnetic energy is produced causing a series of events to transpire, one being severe crust displacement. Watch for shear pressure to build all over.

There was a large electron spike over Fiji this morning, a buddy of mine Nerdrage 88 noticed this anomaly and we were pondering the reason, then the 5.8 hit right there. The earth is producing piezoelectric buildups before the pressure release(quakes). Get ready this is going to continue!

The rise in volcanism worldwide is ample warning that a floating earth crust must be under pressure from below. Magma either exits through the crust or the crust cracks and expands like a balloon to relieve the pressure.
