It would be best to develop a quick escape plan if you are in a densely populated area, one that uses no main roads, highways or bridges, and have a secret place to go away from it all, stocked with survival supplies that can last for several weeks or longer.

You don't want to find yourselves trapped in urban chaos, when the time comes.

You need to stay alert and informed, and plan to get out when necessary.

DoorBert I believe NOW is the time for us to make our final preps. I believe that THIS is the first time the Social Security Administration has decided to order ammo. I was SHOCKED when I heard the NWS ordered ammo. Now, it's plausible that they are ordering the ammo for wildlife officers - NOT the Social Security Administration.

i put this article up on my facebook. I don't get concerned about much, although I am concerned of the rheoteric and threats coming out of Iran, they sure are baiting for an ass beating right now.

But something about this is pretty scarey, pretty fishy, and not to mention they are using OUR money to buy ammo to possibly kill US citizans?

I implore all people to get this article out, along with the buying record of ammo throughout recent history by other divisions of our government. Something is up, and it aint good.

people who are walking around in a daze, might take a second look at this and wake up a bit. Knowing that the ss office in your area has a bunch of hollow points may very well connect in peopel's brains that this government is not about protecting us, but killing us as need arises.

For the first few weeks it would be smart to cover in mud, twigs, bury in ground, etc and simply stay put.

Not moving, once in the woods, is the best way to stay alive. Preserves valuable calories, maximizes stealth, increases your perception of moving targets and the best part....your already aprtially buried if you are found and killed.

Hollow point rounds are for one purpose: KILL. They aren't the rounds one would use for the range. Typically one would use FMJ for practice and training, thereby saving the "good stuff" for the real deal. This is what frightens me.

This is a procurement that is nothing new. If you look at the contacts for SSA you will see that there are multiple locations. And all the contacts are with OIG offices of the Inspector General. These are investigators that go out in the field to bust people who are defrauding the government. Well it get harry at times and they need to defend themselves.

Their gun of choice is the Glock 31 which if you do enough research you will see this ammo is for that weapon.

Organizations in the government have always procured ammo etc to protect their investigators. Ever since the NOAA report came out, it was just some person who found the procurement on FedBizOps (FBO) which is where the govt lists for bids on things they want to buy, to allow contractors to openly bid to provide the service or supply.

So once this person saw this ammo bid they freaked and saw other organizations doing it. Sorry guys, thought the NOAA story got me going at first also, once I did some research and have had some experience with FBO myself I know what its all about and it is really nothing out of the norm.

Another thing to note, With SSA or organizations who have claimants, sometimes they get denied a claim and get aggressive and violent, some have threatened to kill people or blow up offices, hence the need for protection!
