The size of issac means it will take longer for any changes that happen,could be 3 at one point then change to a 4 as it hits land.

What made her weaken? There was a massive dry air mass over Texas that got pulled into her. Hopefully some of that dry air from ??? will get sucked in. It wont come from Texas. there is rain all around and the Gulf is 9 degrees warmer.

Uh, the storm surge caused them to drown. Some in Mississippi from the surge and many in NO from the broken levy and drowning. Many did not leave. Mayor Nagin and that stupid dem governor didn't order evacuations timely enough to empty the city and didn't provide transportation for the folk that had none.

NHC latest: Isaac becoming better organized, but no stronger at the moment. Likely not a hurricane before hitting FL Keys. That comes later.

I'm not here to say Irene didn't do any damage but you compare a low end Hurricane to a major there is no comparison.

Everyone that lives along the coast where there is a potential of flooding or hurricanes should always be ready. Most people never prepare and never will. The ones that do prepare are the ones that went through life changing storms. Some people stay after the storm some leave and never come back.

All I'm saying is the media plays on the hype of the storm when people should take self control of there own lives. These storm we have been having are nothing compared to what used to be.

Everyone should be prepared if they live in a evacuation zone to leave or stay and face your decision. You should listen to your local authorities and make your best decision. If your in the cone of a storm you should be ready and never ever follow that line the NHC shows you. They have been wrong with that line but there ass is covered because the will say you were in the cone.

Ah Camille, yes you are right. Much ado these days over a TS or Cat 1. Now a storm of your namesake is a BFD and would deserve the nonstop coverage. Heck, we get storm fronts with higher winds than Issac now has!
