Lake Toba 5.3 earthquake 153km deep 27.8.2012
I have been traveling couple days but now i'm back in home and i found this one. It is deep but place this kind of earthqukae is totally wrong. Same thing if yellowstone get this kind of earthquake.

There have been many earthquakes 100km radius toba lake and i think scientist will take closer what will happen in there now. It is sure that there is many smaller afterschoks in this area now what we dont know.

Welcome back, so-gui-li, and thanks for the Toba update. Let's hope it's just the deep Earth getting a little indigestion there. If she vomits up THERE it could be frightening...

It is really strange place because that sumatra fault line wich one is really active is normally palce where earthquakes are in this area. It is place also where lake toba gets its energy.

I saw one of my friend today who came back from thailand and indonesia and he have been there since big tsunami katastrophe and he told me there is now to place in indonesia where scientist look closer and those place are lake toba and krakatau.

I dont think there will be eruption in lake toba itself but there is many smaller vents near this lake and those are active. I don remember those volcanoes names but one is quite active like about yellowstone geysir. Nothing serious.

If i remember right lake toba magma lake is about only 4-10km deep from earth surface so there is not too much shelter about that power.
