I posted a thread about black hawks in Boulder 3mins before this one. Not until 2006 did I see any even close to a city, but on that year they were conducting missions within it. That year I saw two of them with full battle-rattle soldiers sitting with their legs out ready to air-assault off. They landed ontop of a building, went in, then came out with a man and a bag over his head. The next day the news says it was a training excercise. People have a hard time believing it and opening their eyes, but this is happening. Like it or not, this is our future. |

So, it is okay on a military base in a populated city? Real life scenarios have been used on base for 50 years, and those are in USA cities. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22828986 please show me where and when our military flew black hawks down the street of a major city? please can you do the same for driving tanks and other heavy armored vehicle around neighborhoods? i grew up outside of Chicago...never did this happen back then. a good video editor can make anyone say anything the editor wants. |

This occured after we began training for asymmetric warfare. This is what is required to fight insurgents rather than nations. Urban warfare training. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22042946 We have mock cities for this training, only reason for real cities being used, is to train for U.S. cities action. :TOMABANEFOX: It's more humane this way ya know, or burn on totem pole. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22459594 WTF.... so we might never know when these become real OP's... they might be now? Oh most definatly. These are real ops. The crew had SF "written" all over them. They grabbed a real person, bound and gagged. The mayor of Denver wanted to know wth it was about, and he got an appology from the heads, and said they would notify him of any future "training" ops. |

Reports coming out of Boulder today that Chinooks are circling the campus there (Twitter). Saw a couple last night in Ky too, maybe Issac relief related? As far as urban training, why use Miami and Minneapolis when the Marines have a full-scale urban warfare training city at Twentynine Plams? [link to www.pe.com] |

The sheeple will take it without missing a stride when these stop being "training" and become live operations.
