What is this that the US Goes Satellite photographed today? A disc shaped object.....

I highly doubt if I know more than you about how the Satellites work based on your responses so far in this thread. My blog and interest in these types of images are kind of "out there" if you catch my drift.

I'm positive most NASA personnel would vouch that I'm certifiably nuts..even though I'm convinced that I'm right.

They have a dry sense of humor over there at NASA. Still it was nice of them to forget the airbrush.....

I'm sort of curious about those TIF images that UA posted that I couldn't get to open. Can you or someone post them to an image hosting service so I can see what they look like?

welll... if that is the moon then we should be really fucking worried about it, 'coz it's toooo damn close to the Earth.

Definitely that's not the moon and it's no "compress artifact" either. Anyway as long as it appears in only one single frame, is impossible to come to any conclusion.

Is there a key for the colors?

Sorry for the alarm. I was driving down the road in front of my house yesterday and hit a series of massive chuckholes. The county government is broke and those chuckholes are deep.

I've looked through archives and not found anything similar, Has anyone else? Just saying it is Uncle Sam's own high dollar high resolution satellite...... The image is there through multiple filters so it is not likely an artifact.

actually that is the moon just zoom in on it and ignore the red coloring to it and you can see the familiar mountains and valleys

Nope! Not on previous days pics taken at similar times. So no go on the moon....

Ok, I did just find another picture from 1999 with a similar shape in a slightly different orientation. I don't agree with the group who posted it, but again, it was taken by Uncle's own satellite.

Its said to be the moon... But i always thought it was something else because looks way to close to be the moon. But maybe it is. There are crafts in our skies cloaked behind clouds. This i am sure of. What i dont know is if they are alien or antigravith unmanned drones... If i read what i just wrote few years ago i would have laughed and thought haha dumbass as alot of u will now lol but its the truth!

Have you forgotten that the earth is not stationery? Lol it turns on its axis aka objects will not be in the same field of view daily my good man.
