Breitbart: Paul 'Republican No More,' Not Ruling Out Third-Party Run
Upset by how the Republican Party establishment “disrespected” them during the Republican National Convention, over 300 Ron Paul supporters joined a conference call on Sunday night to discuss plans to urge Paul to run as a third-party candidate on the Libertarian Party ticket.

Speculation about Paul’s intentions will intensify even more because Paul will appear on NBC’s “The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno on Tuesday night to make an announcement, presumably about whether he will make a third-party run or support Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson.

Evan Cutler of Alaskans for Ron Paul told those on the conference call that he spoke at length with Paul and his wife last Friday. Cutler said Paul told him he has not completely ruled out a third-party run. Cutler said Paul did express concerns about ballot access and the money that would be required for such a run. he is no fool, he knows the odds. Could it be for the first time in this Statesman's life he is ready to say Fuck You, N more Mr nice guy, payback is a bitch.

Can you imagine the numbers of Dems, Libs, Repubs, and Indy's that would vote for him. It would certainly kill Romneys chances of getting elected.

Its almost worth it just for that alone.

All the Republicans on this site will eat all their hateful words towards RP if he runs 3rd party, because it will mean Romney will lose.

Can't help but chuckle at that prospect.

We keep hearing about what Ron Paul supporters are doing. What is Ron Paul doing? Is this something he really wants or is this just from his hard core groupies? Ron Paul was doing interviews just a few months ago while he was still actually campaigning denying any possibility of running third party.

Seriously, the R vs. D race is a crap shoot already. If a credible third party emerged, I can't imagine how politically unstable things would get.

He's been a Republican since 1956.

He is just now finding a reason to leave the party? Why because they didn't endorse him?

He was fine with all the partys bullshit for 56 fucking years (except a brief foray in Libertarianism in 1988), but NOW all the sudden they are BAD?

I am with you on that... I dont think that Dr. Paul has the ego gratification situation that Perot did. At least I hope so. They did diss him at the convention... but I hope Dr. Paul realizes that he will do far more harm to the country than he will do benefit to his legacy.

Now, if he wants to support the libertarian for Pres... that would be a good way to flip off the Republicans for the way they treated him... I would get a good laugh out of that.

Re: Breitbart: Paul 'Republican No More,' Not Ruling Out Third-Party Run
I hope Ron Paul does run as a third party candidate. I don't believe he'll affect the outcome at all, and if he wants to run and can, he should.

He's a slimy lunatic. His sycophantic followers are drug-addled, slimy lunatics.

I have no doubt that Ron Paul, if he runs, will get millions of votes. There are millions of drug addled, slimy lunatics in this country that would vote for him. But he won't take many votes from Mitt Romney.

People who will turn out to vote for Ron Paul will come from the left. The Democrats will be the big losers if he runs because that's the party most of the drug addled, slimy lunatics would have voted for had Ron Paul not run, if they even would have turned out to vote in the first place.
A revolution worth joining. Holistic medicine's finest hour.
