Anonymous Coward User ID: 1513486 United States 09/04/2012 07:39 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I told myself this political season I would refrain from voicing my opinion to anyone regarding politics as both parties are corrupt in several ways. But I have to tell you I watched the RNC every day last week and the DNC today and what I am seeing at the DNC is repulsive. It's about divisiveness, spreading racial and gender tension, distorting facts and the overall atmosphere of HATE and it's embarrassing and unnerving. We are in DEEP TROUBLE America and to think otherwise is intellectually dishonest. Quoting: Jericho9 Tell me where I am wrong my fellow GLPers. they really hate u and me...it is in their DNA... |

It's gotten so much worse over the years. This isn't said as a cliche', it's a fact that I didn't want to see or accept. I'm not a spring chicken but I am a constitutional scholar and historian. Unbelievable what's unfolding in front of us. |

Here are a couple for you. One speaker stating that Republicans want to deny equal rights for women earning the same income as a man. WHERE, WHEN has any republican or the platform stated that or actions reflect that deire? You WON'T find it...it's a lie. Another speaker stated that Republicans want to deny minorities the right to equal opportunity to live the American Dream. WHERE, WHEN has any Republican stated that or acted in a way to allow this to happen? You WON'T find it...it's a lie. |

Jericho9 (OP) User ID: 7913305 United States 09/04/2012 07:54 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm not saying it was a soft feel good love each other event but it was about bringing people together and the very few attacks were factually based towards behavior or actions and rarely personal or distorted. No way you watched the RNC or any of the DNC today...the difference is obvious. |
Jericho9 (OP) User ID: 7913305 United States 09/04/2012 07:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I didn't watch, but this is probably purposely happening to get Americans to fall back to the corrupt Republican party. Invain however because TPTB already have Obama in the seat for four more years. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8152628 Repubs are far from being the party on which they are founded upon and there are still some that NEED TO GO. But we are quickly headed for socialism/Marxism and when that happens NOTHING good has EVER come from it. It's the cycle of great civilizations and we are not breaking the cycle... About the time our original thirteen states adopted their new constitution in 1787, Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh, had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years earlier: "A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always vote for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship." "The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, those nations always progressed through the following sequence: 1. From bondage to spiritual faith; 2. From spiritual faith to great courage; 3. From courage to liberty; 4. From liberty to abundance; 5. From abundance to complacency; 6. From complacency to apathy; 7. From apathy to dependence; 8. From dependence back to bondage Last Edited by Jericho9 on 09/04/2012 08:03 PM |

They race bait you ALL THE TIME. They treat you like you're the dumbest in the world and cannot take care of yourself so they feel the need to come up with tons of rules for you to obey while they control everything in your life. You want tyranny from faux liberals? |
Jericho9 (OP) User ID: 7913305 United States 09/04/2012 08:17 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Here is ANOTHER FLAT OUT LIE... Republicans “can’t get anywhere with our community on domestic issues” and instead “do everything they can to lie and distort and mischaracterize this president’s stellar record on Israel,” the newspaper quoted Wasserman Schultz as saying. “We know, and I’ve heard no less than Ambassador Michael Oren say this, that what the Republicans are doing is dangerous for Israel.” "I categorically deny that I ever characterized Republican policies as harmful to Israel,” Ambassador Michael Oren said in a written statement. “Bipartisan support is a paramount national interest for Israel, and we have great friends on both sides of the aisle." |
