They shouldn't be throwing molotov cocktails on an embassy, I agree - however it's not the right of the US to shoot an Egyptian on Egypt's soil - if they breach the premises, that's a different story. But he'd end up shot by Egyptian Security Forces who are guarding the embassy before being shot by an American.
What you suggest would just incite more violence besides the fact it's an act of War to shoot our citizens on our soil. I hope we're clearer now.

Just put out a shock and awe campaign then tell the rest of the muslim world, we have more of it and anymore attacks on our embassies will result in the same until we will level your cities and religious centers. Leave us alone and we will do the same, strike us again we will start taking out whole cities without any recourse in humanitarian relief support.

Muslims only understand and respect naked strength and power not platitudes or appeasements. Its just their culture and this is exactly how to deal with it. Does anybody have the balls to exercise it?
