MOST THINK LIKE JACKMAN..

That is why JESUS said..The PATH is very narrow and only a few find it....

MATTHEW 7:14

For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.

Luke 18 we find a conversation between Jesus and a young influential and wealthy man (the "rich young ruler").

The conversation starts this way:

18A certain ruler asked him, "Good teacher, what must I do to inherit life?"

19"Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good - except God alone."

Leave people alone then, let your good god sort it out later when everyone dies, in the meantime mind your own business.
Banned as usual.

“It is far easier to be a weakling than to be a Real Man. Were the Earth less harsh or the circumstances of life less austere, man would destroy himself before the shrine of the languid goddess. Only Real Men can with safety destroy the tangled forests and wilderness of Earth and make from them gardens, but will those who inherit the gardens be Real Men? The law decrees that they must be, or the wilderness will reclaim its own.”

I am just defending the point the other poster made that the world would be a better place if people would mind their own business regarding religion instead of trying to push their own vision of things. Self righteous preachy Christians hinder this goal.

He was spot-on: God is consciousness. What he said was very analogous to how Edgar Cayce defined what God is. Yes it will offend fundamentalist xtians who believe in the old-guy-with-a-white-beard personification but who cares.
 Quoting: Rammstein Fan

Edgar Cayce channeled "spirits" and the dead; can you not see that God tells us NOT to contact mediums and spiritists?

Therefore you then know he is FALSE. God gives those who believe in Truth a way to decipher between truth and falsehood.

'God' tells you this?

By 'God' do you mean the humans who wrote the bible?

Or do you, by faith, believe the men who wrote the bible were inspired by 'God'?

Thus, they were channeling the spirit of 'God' and acting as 'mediums' for 'God'.

I guess in order to believe that 'God' told you this, you would have to believe in the power of channeling/mediumship, yes?

So the moral of the story is, only believe in those who say they are channeling 'God'? Or is the moral that certain humans are permitted to act as mediums and not others?

Or is it possible that a group of humans conspired to speak for 'God' to influence/control others and a bunch of people decided to take their word for it and stop 'thinking' for themselves and to stop asking questions about and exploring the nature of their existence?

hmm

Re: Hugh Jackman on Spirituality and God.
Very sad that he can recognise that the path to Our Father is narrow, for he does admit that the path is probably narrow...yet uses every excuse given by man to justify his own falling away. His god is a created image in his own head, alternating between a god who is everywhere and in everything to the exact opposite, that he sits outside of time and space. He states the common indoctrination that man can't know god yet seeks meditation to get closer to god. He's completely in confusion - Babylon.

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is not an author of confusion.
