Luke 18 we find a conversation between Jesus and a young influential and wealthy man (the "rich young ruler").

The conversation starts this way:

Leave people alone then, let your good god sort it out later when everyone dies, in the meantime mind your own business.

By 'God' do you mean the humans who wrote the bible?

Or do you, by faith, believe the men who wrote the bible were inspired by 'God'?

Thus, they were channeling the spirit of 'God' and acting as 'mediums' for 'God'.

I guess in order to believe that 'God' told you this, you would have to believe in the power of channeling/mediumship, yes?

So the moral of the story is, only believe in those who say they are channeling 'God'? Or is the moral that certain humans are permitted to act as mediums and not others?

Or is it possible that a group of humans conspired to speak for 'God' to influence/control others and a bunch of people decided to take their word for it and stop 'thinking' for themselves and to stop asking questions about and exploring the nature of their existence?
