Do you hear perpetual high pitched frequencies? You're not alone! | |

I woke up with Tinnitus and had it for days. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22722806 They may cause Tinnitus among other curious things. Yes, research shows that they do cause tinnitus. .............................. When you judge another, you do not define them, you define yourself. .................................. Also have had progressive hearing loss in the high frequency range. I'm over 50 now. The sound is almost a squeal or hiss mixed with a percussive sound in the left ear. It all gets louder and lower if I'm fighting a germ or have taken ibuprofin. My personal opinion is that the wisdom teeth created more blood vessels and put pressure on my inner ears, since I really didn't have room for them, but the dentist won't pull them. So I think it's the sound of my blood moving through my veins, and I really don't know what could be done about it. Have I now become your enemy by telling you the truth? (Gal. 4:16) |

Yes, I hear them, mine are not a constant noise. When I listen to it I can hear the changes in pitch and the breaks in the frequencies. It is funny when people are like, yeah, that's tinnitus. How do you know, have you even visited the official site for tinnitus? I have, and it seems to be a catch all diagnosis for something that people have no real answer for. LOL, they even say that there is an "objective" tinnitus. "Objective tinnitus are head or ear noises audible to other people as well as the patient. These sounds can be recorded using a sensitive microphone." So does that mean that the "patient" is ringing? Wow, imagine that. To me that sounds more far fetched than it being cell towers or electronics. |

Quoting: Mystic Yea I get that pressure feeling too when I hear it! It's always my right ear. It'll happen a couple times a week, and has been happening to me for years. I just assumed it meant I was going deaf in that ear... “We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection. The deeper and stronger the meditative state gets, the more "tinnitus"! Why is that? I meditate when I can. When you focus on the tinnitus or are in a silent room or very still, the tinnitus may "appear" louder. Happens to most tinnitus sufferers. Billy_Sastard User ID: 24105111 United States 09/23/2012 02:51 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My ears have been ringing for almost 3 years now, nonstop. But I know exactly why and when it happened. I fired a .357 magnum revolver 5 times without ear protection on christmas 2009, and my ears started ringing and have not stopped. I am sure the gunfire was just the straw that broke the camels back, however, as I have not treated my ears well throughout my life, growing up around loud music, loud cars, loud machinery, and loud guns, it was bound to happen eventually. Sometimes the ringing gets worse, and for a while I could not figure out why, but after some research it appears that too much salt can make it get worse, so now I know what is going on when it gets bad, its kind of like a salt warning so I know I ate something I probably should not have XD Last Edited by Billy_Sastard on 09/23/2012 02:52 PM It is, to me, sad how fast people forget the FOUNDATIONS of our fine country! If the quality of the strange sounds you are hearing changes according to your position i.e. where you are or which direction you are facing etc. it probably isn't tinnitus. So many of the belief systems being pushed here are a perfect setup for control by those brave men with their mind machine. |
