Daylight Comet coming SOON

What is the average / equivalent magnitude of the daytime sky? Mag -2
The unaided eye can see -4.4 mag venus, if you know where to look during the day. The full moon is -10, the sun is -26.

We have an event breaking that history will talk about for decades, and we are going to live it.

Is the reference to southern viewability in october 2012 a typo? Do they mean 2012 or 2013?

Not a typo per se, but dip into far southern declinations in October 2012 and gradually attain higher elevations from the southern horizon for northern observers through 2013.

Right now it is in a southern declination upon its discovery, I'm trying to find out which method as well as how many telescopes it took to see this comet.

I'm only an amateur astronomer, I do not have any PHD's, BA, or written published scientific background. I just like the heavens and keep up with the news about it.

Yes, it is cool as shit. It is freaking amazing to think this will be something that generations of people around the earth will witness together. Regularly, when I see a really great shooting star, I often think if anyone else may have seen it.

This is going to be an event for months on end, headlines everywhere, billions of photos taken by tens of millions of people. A comet to surpass all other comets....

It is so good to be alive for this....

From what I can see with my 12" Dobsonian telescope, most amateurs should be able to see it with good binoculars by September 2013 in the northern hemisphere...

Sept 2013 should be about +10 and rapidly brightening according to the links I provided.

Don't forget the name, it may get a new official designation.

I'm going to point out that I've been watching a lot of "electric universe" videos lately and also trying to understand the rumored wave of energy that has been shown to occur in our galaxy leaving behind tell tell traces of its past occurrences.

I'm not asking you to swallow hook line and sinker what this video shows you, but the videos put out by this group as well as Teslas' theories about an electric universe has me thinking differently lately about dark matter, gravity, mass, anti matter, magnetism and a host of other things that are very hard to learn more about.

Can I explain it?, no, not even going to try.

I'll stick with electric universe for now, and avoid the doom of some theories... It's easier to swallow, and makes me think positive for mankind.
