Of course the polls are going to show this when they over sample democrats by 10+%.

Sheesh!

Maybe Democrats are in the MAJORITY?
Has that ever occurred to you??

Yeah, there are more Democrats which explains the landslide in 2010 where 63 Democrat house seats were lost along with six Senate seats.

State and local elections across the country also went the same way.

You removed my post that contradicted your misplaced belief in propaganda.

That's sad.

EDIT TO ADD: I wonder who gave me the last two negative karmas?

Re: Why Romney is losing - A new set of battleground polls shows that the month of September has been especially brutal for the GOP nominee
romney is losing because he is a pathetic excuse for a candidate. he has no direction, and has alienated himself from most of the population. the fact that obama has been this bad and romney is losing ground proves it. you don't need polls to see it
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14207070

Face it - Romney reminds you of your boss.

Directionless? Pah-lease. 2010 left the demoncraps stunned - they could not believe it. Same is gonna happen this year too.

You watch. You will see. Keep telling yourself the silent majority does not exist. And when it is over you will be crying for your mama.. er.. oh-mama.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24238594

romney is nothing like my boss. my boss can actually relate to everyday americans, and works his ass off.

yes, romney has no direction. i have yet to hear him say anything of any substance about the issues at hand. well, i take that back. he has said he will give the rich tax breaks and make sure we go into iran.

i'm not saying romney doesn't have backers, but he has nowhere near a majority. i wish there was someone capable of getting obama out of office, but the republican party and their candidate are a fucking joke whether you realize it or not

Re: Why Romney is losing - A new set of battleground polls shows that the month of September has been especially brutal for the GOP nominee
A new set of polls conducted by Quinnipiac for the New York Times and CBS News paint a grim picture for Mitt Romney, who faces daunting gaps in three big states.

The surveys put Barack Obama ahead by 10 points in Ohio (53-43 percent), nine in Florida (53-44), and 12 in Pennsylvania (54-42). We can apply all sorts of disclaimers here about how any or all of the polls could be outliers, how Pennsylvania probably isn’t a swing state, or how focusing on individual state polls may not be the best way to understand the flow of the national race. But taken together, they represent the latest piece of evidence that Obama is the clear leader and offer some insight into how he’s built and maintained his advantage.

For instance, the poll finds the president opening a gigantic 25-point edge among women in Ohio, 60 to 35 percent. With men, Romney actually leads by eight. In Florida, Romney is up three with men but down 19 with women. (We’ll leave Pennsylvania out of this analysis, since it’s now widely assumed to be an Obama state – although it should be noted that the Romney campaign made plenty of noise earlier in the race about winning it.)

These are some of the most dramatic illustrations we’ve seen yet of the gender gap that Obama and his party have been trying to exploit all year. It also meshes with a national study that found that among those who said earlier this year that they planned to vote for Romney, women are twice as likely as men to have defected to Obama’s camp.

If Obama is so far ahead in Ohio, why is he spending so much time, and so much MONEY there? 20-25% of his ad spend for Sept has been in Ohio.

Of course, MSNBC hasn't told you what you think about this, yet. But there it is. That's why you are seeing polls with +D bias as high as 17 points. To give you the IMPRESSION that Obama is way ahead in Ohio.

I can tell you I see no evidence of that on the ground in Ohio. People are shaking their heads at these polls asking each other "Are they nuts? Do you know ANYONE voting for Obama?"
 Quoting: PravdaDemocrat

Bullshit. He's spending time and money there to defend. No, the polls are not oversampling D's as much as you would like to claim. Its a fact that there are more registered D's than R's. As a student of political science, I was taught that those number are about 34-35% D, 27-28% R, while the remaining 36-37% identify as Independent, nationally. Within a standard deviation of + or - 3. "The polls are wrong", is the last bastion of a doomed campaign. This race is far from over, but at the moment, Romney is losing this race. Maybe he can turn it around. But for your sake, you had better hope that he and the campaign, dont have the caviler attitude you seem to have about all that has happened in the last few weeks. Because, by ignoring the snowball of momentum rolling towards Romney, and trying to spin this defeat into some rare form of victory. You are becoming isolated by denial while your candidate alienates larger and larger blocks of voters, and you cheer him along as he goes. Or do you really think there are enough conservative republicans to win this election?

women are also wives and mothers
and we don't like the idea of some chickenhawk who never served and dodged the draft thinking he has the "moral authority" to send other people's husbands and kids off to die for banks while he ramps up a police state at home that destroys freedom (among other things)
women look into the future
and it's grim for our kids and grandkids
from rights to the environment to the food available and the limiting of so many choices

Oh Romney is not going to win, too whimpy in demeanor against a sitting wartime president.

Obama will win re-election guaranteed.

The republicans could have pulled it off with Ron Paul, young people, grass roots and a real sense of patriotism. But no, doing the right thing is just too alien to the OLD and DYING guard *sigh* and it shows who's pockets their in.

We'll be back to kick their ass a lot harder next time.

So they put up this kinda whimpy dude as a show they never intended to win.

I'm voting from the heart though and as a statement;

So he was attempting to take the unskewedpolls.com website out at the knees to protect his market share.

Maybe Democrats are in the MAJORITY?
Has that ever occurred to you??
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24423814

Yeah, there are more Democrats which explains the landslide in 2010 where 63 Democrat house seats were lost along with six Senate seats.

State and local elections across the country also went the same way.

Re: Why Romney is losing - A new set of battleground polls shows that the month of September has been especially brutal for the GOP nominee

Or do you really think there are enough conservative republicans to win this election?

and we don't like the idea of some chickenhawk who never served and dodged the draft thinking he has the "moral authority" to send other people's husbands and kids off to die for banks while he ramps up a police state at home that destroys freedom (among other things)

This is the worst presidential election I can remember. Well maybe since 2008. Or 2004. Nevermind.

I'm voting from the heart though and as a statement;

Gary Johnson

Re: Why Romney is losing - A new set of battleground polls shows that the month of September has been especially brutal for the GOP nominee
At this time in the election Jimmah Carter polled 8 points over Reagan. I'm not even sure they skewed the polls back then. I know of people that wouldn't admit to a pollster that they aren't voting for Barry. For some reason people are afraid to admit it. I wish they'd called me. I'd say it loud and proud that I'm voting for Romney. The only poll that counts will be on Nov. 6.

It's all part of the lefty media complex trying to sway voters and discourage conservatives.

Last week when the polls weren't too good for obama, one of his henchmen told the public not to pay attention to polls.
