However I do not think you will find it is your govt funding that... but it is certainly all very convenient. People with new diseases suddenly ending up in uk & european hospitals.

The one to the uk i found most interesting though as someone obv funded his emergency medical flight to uk - too convenient for me. Get a disease ( whilst in middle east ), someone funds a terribly expensive flight to get you to a uk hospital.. yet you know no one in uk.

don't know about the original villages,i think i remember reading it wiped them out,that's when they discovered bats had it too,and others i can't recall.i know in the recent outbreak in villages of a more delayed but very similar or mutated virus,after a few deaths the villagers all deserted the place.my mum's mate christina LOrd's son died of CJD here years back.she went on tv a lot,but destroyed her.

Once someone contracts Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever, they can then spread it person to person through touching bodly fluids but is not airborne. I hope the guy did not go to the toilet on the plane because if he did then infection could have been left on the toilet door hangle, toilet seat or even the taps on the sink.

Perhaps, but once you're taken to hospital it's death by prescription.

A real epidemic alarm is people dying outside of hospitals, not hospital deaths than can be caused by whatever reason.

The Health Protection Agency (HPA) is aware of a laboratory confirmed case of Crimean-Congo Haemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) in a UK traveller who has recently returned from Afghanistan.

The patient has been transferred from Glasgow, Scotland to the high security infectious diseases unit at the Royal Free hospital in London using specialist air transport.
