Be the best person you can be, on your terms. Don't judge others and if someone judges you, let it pass. Knowing tbis stuff brings you the knowledge of being self-supporting; plant a garden, don't waste cash on the newest and shiniest fad, save and don't get into debt. (that's just advice, do what you feel is best for you). I do my best to set an example of good healthy living, being happy, and helping others if I can. wish the best for you! |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 17268859 I highly suggest you lose the address to this website..and plan your life. It would be worse for you to make no plans and live in fear than it would be to have plans and not see them happen. People waste their lives here chasing theories and ill founded "what if"s. Don't be one of them..k? P.S. I'm back in school and plan on a long fruitful life. so, 34 years ago, the USA had a multi trillion deficit problem, gays were walking around in the open, French kissing each other, and being photographed on city hall steps having just got married, Muslims were openly cutting people's heads off in the streets, and then bragging about it on camera immediately after the act, blacks were in the Whitehouse stripping the USA of it's wealth, pride and dignity, and loan sharks were upright members of the community, were they? sorry, i missed all that back in 79 |

Don't over-rate your own importance. I did not know you existed until I read your post.... And I don't care what happens to you. We will never meet and I don't give a shit what you do with your life. Quoting: Von_Boner 320079 You still think you are important. But so do all 20 year olds. Imagine how much worse of a shit hole we'd be in if everyone under-rated their importance... I'm sorry you don't feel important anymore Von_Boner :/ Does it make you feel important to tell others they aren't important? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 41870959 United States 06/30/2013 12:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Honestly, at first I was intrigued by the fact that this world is having some very strange stuff happening on it currently in everything from countries rioting to natural disasters. I believe we are about to experience some serious changes and that things are going to get bad before they get better. But now, I just want things to go back to normal for me. I'm only 20, and I want to lead a normal life but it's tough when I see how bad things are getting and how doom could be right around the corner. Sometimes I feel like I'm wasting my time researching this stuff because what if we are really all some kooked out conspiracy theorists and nothing ever happens. At this point, I almost just want to go back to sleep, finish school, and settle down. It's a difficult life being "awake" and can honestly get pretty depressing. Any advice? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 4604609 I know what you mean. I'm 19 myself and my "awakening" was the best and worst thing that could happen. On one hand I've learned a lot which is cool but we're totally fucked on countless fronts. Depression is my life at the moment. I need to find a job so I can get my life on track but its pretty terrible barely being able to summon the willpower to just do it. I've been trying to change my mindset to be more positive but its a lot easier said than done. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 4604609 I know where you're coming from but they aren't going to get "better" unless the elite screw up big time. We are entering Orwell's world signified by a boot stomping on a human face "forever". There are possible existential threats that may derail them including tech gone wild that they can't protect themselves from. The "matrix" metaphor only works while the real world is stable. It's changing rapidly and we should see the extermination program kick into high gear in the next decades. Those of who remember the old days are dying off. |
