Putin cancels Turkey visit

The Russian president had scheduled a visit to Turkey for next Sunday. He cancelled it after Turkish fighters forced a Syrian civilian plane en route from Moscow to land in Ankara Wednesday night. Moscow has demanded clarifications from Ankara, reporting that 17 Russians were aboard the Syrian aircraft bound for Damascus. The Syrian government has accused Turkey of “air piracy.”

Turks always have balls and proved this several times in history but forcing a civilian plane to land or bombing a neighboring country without any reason and trying to start a meaningless war doesn't indicate that we have balls, it is just crazy.

also most "the turks" dont want this struggle. its just the elite.

It's important you know that Syria is in a fight for it's very life. Most of the Syrians here are either from Homs or Hama and they are all Christians.

I am told that when Assad's father was in power, even here in Antigua, if you had something bad to say about him, you had to do it in secret, but his son they all agree is a completely different man who is very tolerant and is also a doctor.

They have told me the differences between son and father is night and day and that Syria under the son, has prospered more and their society is a very tolerant society with all kinds of people from many different religions, all living peacefully in Syria, up until now.

I am told that the rebels are from Qatar, Saudia Arabia, Libya, Jordan, Chechnya, Afghanistan, and Iraq. A majority of them from Libya and they are causing trouble for the Christians. They drive Christians from their homes and kill them. As a result, for the first time, the Christians in Syria are arming themselves in defense. I am told the government is helping with training and advising them on how to best defend their neighborhoods. Even the rich people are coming together and paying the people in the neighborhoods not to work, but to keep watch and defend the area.

So, all in all and at the end of the day, we go back to George Bush Senior when he addressed the nation in 1991 on the defeat of Iraq when he essentially said, welcome to the new world order, which is a vehicle for many possibilities, and when we are successful...and we will be... blah blah blah...

So, the new world order, a vehicle for many possibilities is now using al Qaeda to accomplish their goals in the middle east to mask their efforts at forcing those rebelious and reluctant nations into the new world order of a one world government with a one world central bank, with a one world currency, with a one world police and military force and with you and I as literal slaves who will be owned by them after they get through destroying any and all belief in God or any form of Divinity. This way, they can say you evolved over millions of years, Patent human DNA, and then lay claim to you, the human being as State Property with no rights except that which the one world government grants you and you will only be able to exercise those right after you ask permission to. Turkey defends intercepting Syrian plane

Turkey defended its decision to force a Syrian passenger plane to land, saying Thursday the aircraft was carrying illicit cargo from Russia that Turkish media said included military communications gear and missile parts.

Syria branded the incident piracy and said there was nothing illegal on board. Syria's ally Russia also criticized Turkey, saying Ankara had endangered the lives of Russian citizens on board the aircraft.

In a statement Thursday, the Foreign Ministry in Ankara said the pilot of the Syrian Air Airbus A320, on a scheduled flight from Moscow, had been warned of Turkey's intention to ground it as he approached from the Black Sea on Wednesday evening. It said he was given the chance to turn back, but that he decided to continue his course.

Turkish officials have yet to provide details about what they confiscated. But Yeni Safak, a newspaper close to the Turkish government, reported Thursday there were 10 containers aboard the plane, whose contents included radio receivers, antennas and equipment "thought to be missile parts."

Turkish state-run television TRT also reported the plane was carrying military communications equipment. Neither TRT nor the newspaper cited sources for their claims

A western diplomat in Ankara told The Associated Press that Turkish authorities had found "military equipment" on board the plane, but did not elaborate. The diplomat spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak about sensitive issues.

The plane was allowed to continue to Damascus after several hours, without the cargo.

Russia says its arms not onboard plane seized by Turkey

MOSCOW Moscow on Thursday accused Ankara of endangering Russian lives after Turkish fighter jets intercepted a Syrian airplane on route from Moscow to Damascus which Russia's arms exports agency said was not carrying any of its cargo.

Turkish military jets escorted the Damascus-bound Airbus A-320, carrying about 30 passengers from Moscow, into Ankara airport late on Wednesday after Turkey said it had received intelligence that the plane had military supplies onboard.

Some of the cargo was seized in Turkey before the passenger jet was allowed to continue its trip. No details were given of what was taken off the plane.

"We had no cargo on that airplane. We always deliver our weapons in full compliance with international norms," said Vyacheslav Davidenko, spokesman for Russia's monopoly arms exporter Rosoboronexport.

"Sending weapons on a passenger airplane breaks about every law there is on weapons exports," he said.

Russia has been one of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's staunchest allies, blocking three U.N. Security Council resolutions aimed at piling pressure on him while selling his armed forces nearly $1 billion in arms last year.

Russia's Foreign Ministry said it was demanding an explanation from Turkish authorities over the plane's detention, saying Turkey had refused to grant Russian diplomatic staff access to 17 Russian citizens onboard during the eight hours that the flight was held up.
