That is perfectly normal. I have had experiences like that too. Good idea about the meditation! I need to do that too. In fact, I was thinking something along those lines about an hour ago, and now here you are. :) |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 18041430 Sweden 10/12/2012 05:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | would you really want to live and strive for normality? can you imagine what it would be like if everything was normal? it would be, just like death, so go ahead and leave the physical plane because joy is your purpose and it is achieved with appreciation imagine being in an environment where everything was blue, you would not be able to make out any difference or contrast anywhere when you are dead you are in perfect normality what is normal? a word? a concept? so is potatoe? why dont you advise her to go make some potatoes grow in the garden? you seem depressed, i suggest you start practicing the art of appreciation, simply start appreciating things why would anyone want the concept of normal? why would anyone want to be normal? the normal is the most common attribute of any given subject like if most of the population on earth wears green t-shirts, that is the most normal thing to wear, but why on earth would anyone want to strive to be or become normal? i cannot fathom or understand this anyway whatsoever |

It took me 2 weeks to sit down and think "what do I really want to meditate on...what are my real goals...what do I really want out of life." After that laundry list of things (lol) I came up with a paragraph. After that I created a 2 sentence mantra I use now for meditation in the am and pm. Quoting: éntropy Yesterday and today I really saw it get put to use. I'll try to explain the 2 specific scenarios the best I can. I just got "in" from a field problem we just did (provided telecommunications support.) Yesterday, going into one of their tents I sort of "fealt" in a back and forth motion everyone in the room ( was 5 including myself. ) It fealt like I casually bumped into each person and said "hello" to them? It was a pretty cool experience because it fealt like a real "hello, how are you doing?" A split second later after everyone in the room turned around they all like "hey....howdy..." etc., etc., Then today. I grabbed the handle to the HUMVEE door and I fealt like I was becoming "one" with the metal of the humvee and the humvee itself. Like I fealt that as soon as I touched the door I could have said "go" and the humvee would have hauled a** off lol. Just posting my usual ramblings and cool experiences in my life. :) Its fun to notice things like this in your life, though, where there is fun, danger always lurks. it is important to stay away from extremes. act with caution and best wishes to you on your journey |

Cool story OP. ~How fine you look when dressed in rage. Your enemies are fortunate your condition is not permanent. You're lucky, too.
