Huh. So nothin interesting.

Something odd. I'm in Joplin, Mo and I can't remember a night in 2 years that I've heard so many trains. One after another. Just an observation.

what do the trains usually carry?

Well, honestly once I was stopped during the day in early spring and saw a train passing carrying medical military jeeps and smaller medical vehicles. All with a red cross. Normally they also carry coal and other natural stones from the area...but at night they could ship anything.

I just heard military planes going over - Upstate NY. And it's been quiet for quite a few weeks. Last one was at 3 a.m.

Here in Joplin trains keep passing which is unusual for them to pass one after another all night.

Oddly enough there have been trains passing close to my residence. Over 2 years here and I've never heard this many trains throughout a whole night, I hear jets as well. I've also seen trains moving military medical vehicles...
