Had she kept her shit in her pants she would still be here today. Most of these socalled bullying suicide victims are what gender? FEMALE. SHouldnt that tell you something?!?!

And most of them have been socalled bullied, by rumors! Reputation aint bullying! I am so fucking pissed as I am a one time genuine bullied victim. This fucking crap cheapens what i went through!

why was this popular girl SLEEPING around? She has no fucking one to blame but herself. Every action was committed by her that resulted in her suicide. She gets NO remorse from me.

Probably responses like yours pushed her over the edge. The girl was obviously looking for sympathy but people like you just make it worse.

I have been around people like you, and yes what you say does hurt, very much.

No matter the cause death is a terrible thing! She was just a child with her whole life ahead of her...why cant people learn to be encouraging and supporting of each other instead of judging, being mean and ridiculing others. We need to teach kids all throughout school that this behavior is not ok!

Yes it is terrible that she ended her life. but it is equally tragic to try and hide her psychological issues behind the false pretense of bullying.

Wow I'm genuinely sorry for what you went through in high school. Your obviously still very angry about it and you totally have reason to be. My hope for you is that you will somehow be able to put it in it's place for your own piece of mind. Being angry/scared is exhausting.

On that note, the extent that this girl was driven to that would prompt her to take her own life was without a doubt, her own kind of hell. She was a real person that by the sounds of it, was someone that you would have probably liked if you had had a chance to know her.

Whether or not she had made some mistakes, which incidentally, I didn't glean from this report, she has DIED because of the torment inflicted upon her by other people. I agree, it isn't "bullying" just as what happened to you wasn't bullying so much as a prolonged and repeated physical and psychological assault. Unlike you, she didn't make it. But I'm sure you understand the impulse that drove her to do what she did. For that she deserves your empathy, not your scorn.

The way I see it you can let your anger dictate the rest of your life or you can somehow as I suggested, put it in it's place and find a way to work through it. You can't change what happened or how it has impacted your life, you can only change what you do with it from here on out. Time is short my friend.

Apparently this girl is in foster care because both of her parents have died.
And 15 is an age of shakey unformed identity. Kids are cruel to one another. I was bullied, my son was bullied, who wasn't bullied. No protection.
But now 'social' networks are used to hound kids and publicly humiliate and demoralize them at a point in their lives when social acceptance is everything.

Walking a mile in someone else's moccasins can change unkind judgement into empathy instantly if you could experience their pain directly and understood the facts.

I have made it a point to use my own experiences, however painful to prevent harm happening to others, to express love through protecting others.

Use your suffering to spare others through non-judgemental sharing.

This poor girl had already endured the loss of her parents at such a young age, she was vulnerable. Kids can be so cruel and they need so much guidance as well as strong modelling of healthy behaviours. They need to be taught how to set personal boundaries with those trying to stomp over them.

For this they need a safety net and that is where we are failing them, parents, carers, educators, social workers, counsellors - we all need to educate ourselves, deepen our own compassion and empathy and start supporting and guiding these children.

Here is a man who really walks his talk and he doesn't have any arms or legs!



It has become the subject matter of fiction writing too - this book is a best seller and some say it should be mandatory reading for all high school students:-

People are weak as fuck these days. There have always been bully's there will always be bully's. Grow the fuck up and get over it.

It's cause your culture is drenched with ma-schism and hierarchical behavior.

Your highschool cultures are rotten with kids being judged on their parents income, by the way they dress (cause of that income) and how good they are at sports.

Nobody in Europe gives a crap about sports in relationship to school (afaik) so there's not some weird jock culture.

Most Hollywood movies glamorize the "cool kids" and in many case extremely rude or violent behavior is justified in those movies.

Of course there are a lot of movies trying to counter those movies but it's not influencing kids cause they prefer to see "cool things".. a little bullying is than accepted.

This culture is slowly infiltrating Europe as well but hasn't reached the East that much. When I talk to people my age here (I'm not from Czech) they didn't have fights in school or did they have any class difference because Mikey got the latest Nikes every quarter but Billy was wearing his cousins 5 year old adidas...

I'm not saying I blame the US citizens per se but it would be interesting to see when this started in the US.
