What do you think the Red Cross is supposed to do with cash? They allegedly buy canned goods and water to ship into the disaster zone, dumbass.
But it is a fact that for every dollar you donate to the Red Cross they will keep 80% or more to "save for future disaster's". They also use your donations to pay the million dollar a year salary of the CEO of the American Red Cross.
My father despised the Red Cross to the day he died. He was 15 when he joined the Army during the Korean War. In Korea the Red Cross made the boys PAY for coffee and doughnuts at their canteens. The Salvation Army gave the soldiers refreshments, and did not ask for donations. All the Red Cross does is panhandle for cash, and then keep as much as possible.
