If God doesn't exist, then this means that the Big Bang was an accident. This means that the evolution of man was an accident. This then means, that even our thoughts are mere accidents. If this is the case, then "truth" and "lies" do not exist. Furthermore, we can then not rely on what man considers to be truth, since truth does not exist. Nonbelievers, thereby have no right to say what they believe is true.

To add, if the universe had no meaning, we then, could not find out that it had no meaning. If you place a blind rat in a box, will it find out that darkness exists? Or how about it finding out that it lives in a box? No meaning takes away knowledge, for knowledge has to have a base, in order for it to exist or to be taken seriously.

Sorry friend I am not an aetheist so you can save those last two paragraphs for someone who is. The 'methods' you ask for are already written into the design of our beautiful Universe. The movement of our solar system is cyclical and the ancients knew this wisdom which is why such a grand importance was placed on tracking the movements of the celestial bodies. They knew they could predict the various 'ages' that would fall upon man by tracking the movement of our solar system and the Earth's precession of the equinoxes. This is why there is such a remarkable congruence to be found among various prophecies and 'religions' of cultures that have been separated by space and by time. They are all telling the same story but with their own cultural twists & influences. Scientists have learned from studying ice core samples that there have been reoccuring (repeating/cyclical) periods of intense flaring from our SUN, which has deposited very high levels of 'cosmic dust' upon our glaciers. The SUN is the light of our world and effects every living organism (DNA) as well as our collective level of consciousness. The cleansing from our SUN will elevate the consciousness of our Earth by purifying our environment (and more importantly our bodies) of the low vibrations (negative energy) that we are currently immersed in and which cannot exist in an higher energetic environment. The only reason I speak up is that I don't want to see people disheartened or devestated when they don't see 'Satan' or 'Jesus' physically manifest in the skies and conduct a literal battle of good/evil. : )

I'm not saying I know when this will transpire or implying that I know any minute details - but I am suggesting that this 'event' has occurred in our past and will occur again in the future, as it is cyclical in nature. Draw your own conclusions. I believe humans have experienced this process in our past history and tried to document the 'event' in cave paintings & pictograms to warn us and also through spoken prophecy (oral tradition). I do not know what the extent of the Earth 'changes' or 'cataclysms' will be like and I don't think anyone can say with any certainty.

If 'God' is within us then 'God' cannot be without us (outside of us). I do not choose to personify the conceptualization of a Creator. There is beauty to be found in every piece of this puzzle that makes up this Creation. The Universe and nature are not separate from us either. The cosmic/celestial cycles of our Universe is not an 'excuse' for the 'event' that so many are feeling and anticipate, it IS the MECHANISM you are looking for and it can only be a product of the Creation and thus the Creator (force) or what you might conceptualize as 'God'. It is built into the design! : )
