Meteorite's are traditionally much heavier than a regular rock, but that could be a lot of the iron, and you said its not magnetic. But there are a slew of meteorites that aren't magnetic. |

He could be right but I looked it up and it does not look like a meteorite and its not magnetic, but I did find it in the middle of the grass no other rocks around it, maybe its a piece of another planet? I thought it was a lighter weight. , but it was in the middle of no where,, it weighs 4 pounds 10 ounces, I thought that was heavy for the size. I did send pictures to a so called meteorite guy and he actually was kinda stumped and said to send it to him to look at and I was like uhhh no. |
